Cane Rod Gathering
Last year a bunch of PPCTU members and some others met on the Gunpowder River at the York Road access to share cane rods, cast and enjoy each others company. This year I thought I would open it up to other folks who would like to bring a graphite, or a fiberglass rod they especially like, or some other equipment they would like to share. People should bring any bamboo rods and reels they want to share. The event will be at the York Road access area on the downstream side on Saturday, March 21st. We will meet at 9 and go until about 1. People are welcome to bring their own lunch. At this point I will bring a pot of chili, and Todd Parks is bringing some pork barbecue. I will be bringing a couple of fold up tables for display. If anyone else plans on coming we are in need of a few more tables. People should also bring fold up chairs if they want to sit. I will be bringing a campstove to heat up the chili and pork barbecue. People are welcome to fish afterwards. The raindate is Saturday, March 28th.
