Jacob Kiessling
Job title:
Law Student/Law Clerk
About me:
Third year law student at University of Baltimore School of Law. From Hummelstown, PA, and went to college at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. My dad got me started trout fishing before I could walk, and got me my first fly rod when I was nine. Fifteen years later, I find myself fly fishing three to four days a week year round (snow and ice permitting). Its the best reason, and my favorite excuse, for skipping law school classes. When not in class or wetting a line, I'm tying flies. I prefer fishing coldwater mountain streams for native brooks and wild browns, or spring creeks of york county. Since I've lived in Baltimore for the last two years I have been working more of the waters down here, namely Gunpowder and Morgan Run.
Favorite quote:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9 || “The America Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” — Alexis de Tocqueville || “Conservatism is the antidote to tyranny. It's the only one. It's based on thousands of years of human experience. There is nothing narrow about the conservative philosophy. It's a liberating philosophy. It is a magnificent philosophy. It is a philosophy for the ages, for all times.” – Mark Levin
